    1. Read John 10:1-6
      1. Verse 1 says that there are some among the ‘flock’ (God’s family) that do not belong. Why do they not belong even though they are among the flock? (Because they climbed in on their own effort and don’t know the Shepherd)
      2. How do people try to ‘climb in’ to the family of God today?
      3. In this passage Jesus expresses an intimacy between the Shepherd and his sheep. Why would sheep love their shepherd?
      4. How does this relate to our spiritual relationship with Jesus as our shepherd?

      6. A part of a Shepherd’s job is to shear their sheep. Why do shepherd shear their sheep?
      7. If Jesus is our Shepherd, that means there will be times when he has to shear parts of our lives. This could be bad relationships, sinful habit, or other things. How are we similar to sheep when being sheared? (run away, fight the shepherd, etc.)
